TENOARM
Age Resistant Vapour Barrier
Tenoarm provides a new approach to insulating buildings
Tenoarm is a special clear, strong and flexible film intended for use as a vapour barrier. Created to meet the tougher requirements now in force for insulation and sealing construction methods and designed for the entire service life of the building.
Tenoarm is thicker than ordinary building film, it is easier to apply also absolutely tightly against the insulation layer. It is also less susceptible to damage than building film.
Tenoarm is manufactured for the various types of application (ceilings, walls and floors). It is also specially folded to facilitate easy installation. To fit Tenoarm is simply rolled out and fastened according to the instructions, thus avoiding unnecessary joints which can cause draughts and impair the insulation effect.
Tenoarm lasts as long as the house
Tenoarm is resistant to age as proved by the tests carried out by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Tenoarm maintained its strength for 25 weeks at a temperature of 100°C. This corresponds to a durability of approximately 100 years at a normal temperature.
Stiffer requirements for energy conservation
In Sweden, where Tenoarm has been developed and is manufactured and is manufactured, the Government introduced new and stringent regulations as far back as 1977 for insulating buildings. These regulations entail tougher requirements for moisture protection, insulation and draught control in walls, floors and ceiling. Tenoarm is stabilized against decomposition.
